Neglected Blog, I Am Sorry

ok yeah. it's been like a month.
First, I miss Amsterdam. I actually said at the Noc Noc the other night 'I am homesick for Amsterdam.' And it's not just because I want to drink Duvel and Leffe. I can get those at Bev Mo (thank god). It's just that city is so perfect - like a little utopia. Lesley thinks it's also funny that we never bothered to go to the red light district. Who needs that crap when you have beautiful canals, hot ladies riding bicycles and perfect beer? If we can move there some day, I will be so happy!

Also, Olympics, I am so excited about you! We bought a $20 TV antenna so we could watch all the ice skating and sledding and other winter events! It's really the best and I'm going to be stoked to see that russian guy kick some ass!

One more thing - karaoke is taking over my life in a good way. Saturday night was Sal's birthday and we went to Serra Bowl. Unfortunately we missed the bowling but we showed up just in time for the karaoke. The night before while dancing like idiots, I had promised Damon I would sing 'Livin' on a Prayer' by Bon Jovi. So even though I was tired, I submitted the song and proceeded to rock out to Bon Jovi - something I never thought I would do. I was laughing about it later because although I know every word to that damn song, I don't think I ever owned the cd! ha!
