ok so it's been a week and i apologize. i'm not going to get very many readers this way. the exciting thing that's happend this week was the bomb scare on haight street. someone left a "suspicious package" on a muni bus. the result was the evacuation of three square blocks for around two hours. i thought we'd go back in like half an hour but i guess it was a real threat or whatever. so me and keala ended up going to cole valley and we wandered into a bar called finnegan's wake. it was pretty much the best bar ever - like out of a dream. it was totally deserted except for one regular and the round, humpty dumpty-like tattooed bartender. i glanced around and saw a pool table (nice) and star wars pinball (perfect). we played pinball for a while and then i noticed the back door was open to a patio so we went to check it out.
well, let me tell you, they had a PING PONG TABLE! ping pong is probably one of the most fun things ever, especially if you are drinking at 1pm while on an extended break because of a bomb scare!! i highly recommend trying it!
oh, and it wasn't a bomb. it was a tool box someone had accidentally left behind.
